MYSORE & Pranayama
Experience the healing affects of yoga through the traditional mysore method. Presented as a four class series, these sessions incorporate both asana and pranayama practice offering students one on one guidance and assistance in a small group. A perfect opportunity for both new and experienced students to develop a balanced, sustainable yoga practice, individualized to their own need and level. Classes offered in both Kingsburg & Halifax.

Counted Primary series, pranayama & Mantra
In these sessions, students are led through the therapeutic asana of primary series (yoga chikitsa) using the traditional counted method. These classes also include guided pranayama (breath work) & vedic chanting providing a unique opportunity to experience all the elements of traditional practice in one session. These sessions are offered monthly, all levels are welcome.

Delve deeper into your practice with a weekend intensive that includes mysore practice, ashtanga philosophy, pranayama & mantra, workshop, great food, conversation and fun!
The Art of Pranayama - learn and understand the basics of pranayama - how to build a ‘daily practice’ either independently or, as compliment to your asana routine. Fall dates TBA!
If you are thinking about what yoga can do for you or, want to get back to your mat after a long absence, this is a great launch point. In a step by step format, you will learn the elements of breath practice, a basic posture sequence to open and strengthen the body and, a unique breathing/movement technique offering strong healing, energetic & meditation affects. These sessions starts the process of developing a self-directed yoga practice under the supervision of a teacher - offered in conjunction with regularly scheduled mysore classes or, through private sessions.
