Mysore style is the traditional method for teaching ashtanga. In this format, you self-practice in a small group while receiving one on one guidance and assistance. Taught as a four class series, these clinics offer you the opportunity to develop a sustainable practice uniquely suited to your own skill and abilities and experience the true healing affects of yoga.

In these sessions, you are led through the therapeutic asana of primary series (yoga chikitsa) using the traditional counted method, followed by guided pranayama (breath work), mantra (meditation). These classes offer a unique opportunity to experience fully the true essence of traditional Ashtanga practice.
Delve deeper into your practice with a weekend intensive that includes mysore practice, asana workshop, ashtanga philosophy, q&a, pranayama & mantra, great food, conversation and fun!
If you are thinking about what yoga can do for you or, want to get back to your mat after a long absence, this class series is a great launch point. In a step by step format, you will learn a basic asana sequence and breathing/movement technique that has a strong healing and energetic affect on the body. As well, we will start the process of developing a self-directed yoga practice under the supervision of a teacher. No yoga experience needed, just a curiosity to learn!
